But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong… so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:26–29

  1. What are some other examples in the Bible of God working through flawed people? What encouragement does that give you in your own faith walk?

  2. Has there ever been a time where your flaws held you back from doing something you thought God was calling you to do? Explain how this text, and chapter, helps you think through your flaws in regard to what God might be calling you to do in the future.

  3. What would be an example of “quiet” courage in your life that you feel God calling you to pursue?
