What is something you have learned to take seriously because ignoring it tends to make things worse?

Paul says our struggle is not ultimately against “flesh and blood,” but against spiritual forces of evil. How might remembering this change the way you respond when you find yourself in conflict with another person?
The sermon described Satan’s schemes primarily in terms of temptation and accusation. Which of those two tends to be more significant in your life—being tempted toward sin, or being weighed down by guilt, shame, and accusation? Why?
Satan’s temptation often involves making sin look sweeter than it is (“the bait”) while hiding its consequences (“the hook”). Where are you most prone to minimize or rationalize sin?
As an accuser, Satan wants us to “mind our sin more than our Savior.” When you fail or struggle, what do you typically do with your guilt? How can the gospel help you move from dwelling on your sin to looking to Jesus?
Paul tells us to “stand firm” and to “be strong in the Lord.” What is one area of your life right now where you need to stop relying primarily on your own strength and instead to depend more intentionally on Christ?
