Ephesians - Week 3

Ephesians 1:3-14 // Pt. 2

LIFE GROUP DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

  • What’s something you once believed would “change everything” in your life—but didn’t satisfy the way you expected?

READ EPHESIANS 1:3-14

  1. Where do you see the pattern of sin promising freedom but actually leading to control or exhaustion? How have you experienced that tension in your own life?

  2. Jesus “chose our freedom over his own.” How should that shape the way you think about your sin, your identity, and your relationship with God this week?

  3. The Holy Spirit is described as a “seal” and a “guarantee” of our inheritance. Which error are you more prone to: treating joy in God as only a future reality, or trying to find ultimate joy in this life now?

  4. How does the promise of a secure, eternal inheritance change how you face your current circumstances?

  5. How do you respond to the idea that God is sovereign over all the details of your life? Where do you need to trust God’s plan more deeply right now?
